I don’t understand people who claim that Elle was cold. She was the one tasked with comforting the family/victims most in S1 and she always did a spectacular job. Also she worked sex-crimes before the BAU and so had to display empathy, compassion and heart to victims all the time. This was constantly shown on the show. Of course she was a bad ass but the caring part of her personality was never subtle or left open for interpretation. I’m sorry but if you say Elle is cold, you’re just plain wrong.
